The Continuous Work Drawings, 2012
In the Continuous Work Drawings my movements on a tablet are recorded while digitally editing images on a computer. Seen as surveillance of one’s own actions, the leftover marks are both records and technological representations. Sourcing initial images from advertising, I disorient depictions of space that devolve into abstractions in order to impose conditions of non-space back onto the original. This series includes 1500 drawings.
