I created this work while on a residency in Switzerland. It is made from a lamp, silicon, wood and a halogen bulb. Due to the projection of light, a shadow and ‘black hole’ appears at the point of contact. At the time I was working on a project involving the Larger Hadron Collider at CERN and talking to physics about light and how colliding particles are visualized.
